The Snow Ball is The Flower & Fruit Mission's signature black tie party, kicking off the holiday season and supporting women's health at Saratoga Hospital. Presented by The Adirondack Trust Company, The Snow Ball will be held at the Canfield Casino on Friday, December 4, featuring music by the New York Players, generously underwritten by Stewart’s Shops and the Dake Family.  

Event sponsorship is an important and effective way to make a difference in our mission. Sponsors receive significant exposure at the event, which has over 250 attendees annually, as well as the knowledge that your tax-deductible donation will be supporting health services for women and babies at our community hospital.  You also have the option to show your support by joining us on the Honorary Committee. 

Event sponsorships and Honorary Committee tickets must be purchased by October 1, 2026, to be included on the invitation.

Our Mission

The Flower & Fruit Mission was founded in 1904 to support maternity care at Saratoga Hospital. At first, the Mission provided flowers and fruit for new mothers and blankets, caps, and clothing for infants born at the Hospital. More recently, the organization has focused primarily on fundraising—and has donated more than $1.5 million to enhance the Mother/Baby Unit and women’s health services and as scholarships to supporting nursing and secondary education in healthcare.
